Police unveiled a new speed camera that scans four lanes of traffic simultaneously, setting up in the 80km/h zone near Mill Point Road for seven hours this week.
Of the 14,347 cars recorded traveling along the freeway during this time, 8513 were clocked over the posted speed limit.
